Snow White. We all know the story, right? Beautiful princess, wicked stepmother, poisoned apple, and, of course, the happily-ever-after with a handsome prince. But let’s be real for a second: Did Snow White *earn* that happy ending just by being kind, or did she just get super lucky? I mean, does being nice always lead to sunshine and rainbows, or is there more to the story?

Okay, let’s give credit where credit is due. Snow White was seriously kind. She was polite to everyone, and super nice to the seven dwarfs, even doing chores for them! They ended up being the ones protecting her, so that kindness really paid off. Maybe there is something to be said for doing good, and good things coming back to you. It definitely worked out better for her than it did for her stepmother! But…is that all there is to it?”

Like, seriously, can you imagine cleaning up after seven roommates? I struggle with just one !

Here’s where things get a little murky. Remember that sweet old woman offering Snow White an apple? Yeah, that kindness almost got her killed! And let’s be honest, Snow White wasn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed there. It makes you wonder if being  too trusting can actually be a problem. Plus, let’s face it, the prince showing up was pure luck. If he hadn’t wandered by, she’d still be snoozing in that glass coffin. So, maybe ‘happily ever after’ isn’t just about being kind; maybe it’s also about being in the right place at the right time.

It makes you wonder if being too trusting can actually be a problem. Speaking of the wrong place and time, what about the Queen being jealous of Snow White? Was that Snow White’s fault? Should Snow White have done something different to prevent her from getting poisoned?

I mean, girl, haven’t you heard of ‘stranger danger’? Maybe she should have watched some crime documentaries!
